In June 2020, Fr. William G. Coffas was named the pastor of Holy Cross Parish in conjunction with being the pastor of Our Mother of Sorrows Parish.
When a pastor is appointed the head of two separate parishes that is called a cluster. A better way of explaining this partnership is the Community of Mother of Sorrows and Holy Cross. Shortly after being named as pastor of Holy Cross and Our Mother of Sorrows, Fr. Coffas invited all his parishioners to build a bridge to Christ. This was a metaphorical calling for a sharing resources and working together to plan for the future while at the same time reaching out to all the members of our community and sharing the message of the Gospel and concern for those who are in need.
In 2023 and 2024, the Community of Mother of Sorrows and Holy Cross celebrated a time focused on Gathering the Sheep around Jesus the Shepard. During this time, more people have come to the various liturgical celebrations that are offered in our two beautiful Churches.
We hope that you will join us for an upcoming Mass and consider making this community your spiritual home. There is a place for you here.
